The boy twin, with a weight of only 1590 grams, is afflicted with Very Low Birth Weight(VLBW), Feed Establishment, and feeding issues. He needs NICU admission, oxygen/ventilator therapy, and round-the clock medical examinations, and physicians recommend 3 to 4 weeks of intensive care. The 1500-gram female twin is also diagnosed with Low Birth Weight (LBW), Feed Establishment, and feeding difficulties and needs 6 to 7 weeks of NICU treatment and medical intervention.

Urgent Care, Rising Costs

The combined expense of their treatment at NICE Advanced Neonatal Care Centre and Children's Hospital has exceeded ₹10,00,000:

₹5,00,000 for the male child,

₹5,00,000 for the female child.

These costs include NICU stay, oxygen/ventilator assistance, blood work, X-rays, medications, and medical attention—a sum considerably higher than the family can handle.
