She has been diagnosed with Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) and is currently in the NICU at PMR’s Ace Children’s Hospital, relying on ventilator support to breathe. The doctors have informed the family that She will need at least 30-35 more days of NICU care, with the ventilator likely required for 8 to 10 more days.
