Master Research Giri, a 13-year-old boy, is suffering from Primary Immunodeficiency and is currently undergoing critical treatment after a Bone Marrow Transplant performed on 31 July 2026. He is now experiencing acute gut GVHD (Graft-versus-Host Disease) and is on steroid treatment.
Doctors have advised further treatment with 10 cycles of Extra Corporeal Photopheresis (ECP) along with supportive care. The estimated cost of his treatment is approximately ₹25 lakh, including around ₹15 lakh for ECP and ₹8–10 lakh for supportive care.
Research’s parents come from a low socioeconomic background and are unable to afford the complete treatment cost. Without timely financial support, continuing his treatment may become extremely difficult.
